Ingredients:  

Refined Wheat Flour (Maida) (60%) , Skimmed Milk Powder, Bakery Shortening (Palmolein Oil & Sesame Oil), Sugar, Acidity Regulator (INS 330, INS 334) & Raising Agent (INS 500(ii)).

Contains: Gluten, Milk solids & Sesame Seeds. May contain traces of Tree Nuts.

Directions for cooking:

1. Pour 40-42 ml water/Milk in the content of Gulab jamun mix.
2. Knead gently in a soft and smooth dough. Apply ghee or oil on both the palms & then shape 35 smooth round balls (jamun) without any cracks.
3. Deep fry in ghee or oil on medium to low flame until golden brown. Drain excess oil.
4. Soak the jamuns in hot sugar syrup for 20 mins.

Direction for preparation of sugar syrup:

• Prepare syrup by dissolving 400 g sugar in 450 ml water.
• Boil and simmer for 5 minutes.

TIP: Add a few strands of saffron and cardamom to the sugar syrup.
